Grease Trap Pumping Services

All grease traps will be fully pumped and cleaned in accordance with local government standards (where applicable). All contents of tank will be fully removed:

Standard Services Include:

  • Removal of all grease water and solids from tank (Full Pump Out).

  • All tank walls and accessible areas will be fully pressure cleaned.

  • All contents of tank will be hauled, manifested and disposed of at an approved facility.

  • Surrounding area of grease trap and lids will be thoroughly cleaned, sanitized and disinfected upon completion of pump out.

  • Incoming and Outgoing lines to grease traps can be jetted as an optional service.

Best Practices

  • Each location will be advised of their scheduled pumping in advance, by phone, the day prior to confirm the scheduled pumping.

  • Liquid Waste Recovery will advise the store manager of any irregularities identified during the pumping process. (i.e. baffles are intact, any cracks, holes or irregularities in the tanks etc.).

  • Before and After pictures are available for customer review upon completion of service.

  • Follow-up calls are made the day after each service, to the store manager or their designee, to confirm that all grease trap pumping procedures were completed in a satisfactory manner.

Exhaust Hood Cleaning and Service

All exhaust hoods will be cleaned in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA’s) code 96, which regulates the sanitation of commercial kitchen hoods. 

Standard Services Include:

  • Removal and cleaning of all grease laden exhaust hood filters.

  • All accessible hoods, grease removal devices, fans, ducts and other appurtenances will be thoroughly cleaned to bare metal.
  • The exhaust fan will be opened from the roof of the establishment (or side of building) allowing the housing, fan blade and ventilation duct to be thoroughly sanitized. This does not include the motor.
  • Each location will be advised of their scheduled cleaning in advance, by phone, the day prior to confirm the scheduled cleaning.

Best Practices

  • Liquid Waste Recovery will advise the store manager of any irregularities identified during the cleaning process. (i.e. exhaust fans, belts, bearings etc.).
  • Liquid Waste Recovery avoids the use of caustic acid-based chemicals which would cause corrosion to your equipment.
  • Before and After pictures are available for customer review upon completion of service.
  • Follow-up calls are made the day after each service, to the store manager or their designee, to confirm that all cleaning procedures were completed in a satisfactory manner.
